Reconsider Eligibility for In-Person Commencement

On Tuesday, April 20th, Stanford University announced that it will hold an in-person commencement. However, eligibility for those who can walk is very exclusive. Only those who have conferred their degree from summer 2020 to spring 2021 can walk. This excludes people who took a leave of absence or a flex term and seniors who are doing a coterm degree and did not confer their undergraduate degree. We urge the university to reconsider the eligibility to make it more inclusive.
